Tiny Boxwoods dishwashers provide guest service by assuring that all glassware, dishware, cutlery, and cooking utensils are sanitary and clean. The dishwasher is the person most responsible for making sure guests’ health is protected by always using the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant. Although the dishwasher rarely serves guests directly, the work done by the dishwasher is critical to every guest and the people who directly serve guests.

Tiny Boxwoods Productions require the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the position of a Dishwasher/Porter.
The incumbent will be working in a restaurant setting on the floor with guests, in the kitchen and dish area. Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature generally moderate and controlled, however incumbent must be able to work in extreme temperatures, as the kitchen may reach temperatures above 100°F. Position requires the handling of sharp objects and sanitizing chemicals. Potential hazards include but are not limited to cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.
The incumbent is required to stand/walk for the entirety of each shift. Incumbent is regularly required to hear and communicate. This position is very active and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to constantly move around in the kitchen and dish area where space may be limited. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and squat. Incumbent must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighting up to 250 lbs on a regular and continuing basis. Required to wash pots and pans using both high temperature and chemical sanitizing systems.
