Porter Job Description

Our company is searching for a reliable Porter who can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering a high level of customer service. The Porter will be responsible for greeting guests as they check in/out at the front desk, responding guests needs loading and unloading of vehicles, assist with guests questions, provide directions for parking and traffic control to maintain an efficient check in/out process. Assist with maintaining common area and grounds. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude and is dedicated to making each guest’s stay as pleasant as possible.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all bags and other guest effects are properly handled
• Assist in answering front desk calls for assistance and delivery of items within the facility
• Work with the customer service team to help set up special events, signage, and other materials throughout the facility
• Respond immediately to assigned guest calls that concern minor room maintenance and other guest needs
• Act as part of the housekeeping service team during the busier times of the day as necessary.
• Provide daily upkeep of building common area, grounds, pool deck, observation deck, walkways, elevator landings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time
• Experience with radio communication
• Reliable and able to work each Saturday.
