Job summary

Clinton Management is seeking a Porter to join one of our Brooklyn properties. The position requires cleaning of common areas and vacant units, exterior maintenance, trash handling, and light maintenance tasks, with a schedule of Saturday to Wednesday 2pm–10:30pm, and time off on Thursdays and Fridays.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma, Porter experience (or building cleaning experience), and be able to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year or more of Porter experience preferred; building cleaning experience will be considered.
• Heavy lifting (50+ lbs.) required.
• Must be available to work weekends, overnights and/or overtime.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas and vacant apartments.
• Maintain exterior areas.
• Collect and sort trash.
• Salt and shovel snow during inclement weather.
• Perform minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing blinds, and small paint touch-ups.
