- Good service skills
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team to consistently deliver a quality product
- Basic English language skills
- Able to handle objects, reach with arms and hands, push a cart weighing 100-150 lbs., and lift 50-70 lbs.
- Knowledge of and ability to use resilient floor cleaning/polishing and carpet shampoo equipment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Job Specific
- Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, in accordance with the hotel’s personal appearance standards
- Follows OSHA regulations and policies/procedures set forth by Housekeeping department
- Applies excellent guest relations skills when interacting with guests
- Maintains a positive attitude and encourages the same among team members
- Anticipates needs, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness to ensure complete satisfaction
- Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner
- Uses teamwork skills at all times
- Performs cleaning and maintenance of exterior grounds, floors, carpets, and interior areas as detailed
- Operates and maintains cleaning equipment once trained
- Maintains cleanliness of supplies and storage areas
- Assists with restocking and cleaning of room transports
- Follows safety and emergency procedures
- Participates in meetings and training sessions
- Completes assigned daily tasks efficiently
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
