Job summary

Tonti Properties is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to keep our residential spaces clean and welcoming. You will maintain the grounds and common areas to create an inviting environment for residents.

You will perform trash pickup, blowing walkways, landscaping, and power washing as needed, and support the maintenance and property teams as directed by the Property Manager or Regional Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general labor experience.
• Ability to meet physical demands and follow directions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Groundskeeper/Porter, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community grounds and common areas. This includes daily trash pickup, blowing walkways, maintaining landscaping, and power washing surfaces as needed. You’ll help ensure that the property is clean and welcoming for residents and guests alike. You’ll also support the maintenance and property teams with additional tasks as directed by the Property Manager, Director of Maintenance, or Regional Supervisor.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of general labor experience
• Ability to meet physical demands and follow directions
• Skilled in the safe use and upkeep of tools and equipment, including:
• Power tools: blowers, pressure washers, etc.
• Manual aids: ladders, hand trucks, wheelbarrows, dollies, buckets
• High school diploma or equivalent required
