Job summary

Tonti Properties in Durham, NC is seeking a dependable Make-Ready team member to prepare apartments for new residents. You’ll clean, do minor repairs, paint, and ensure each unit is move-in ready, working closely with the Property Manager.

We value hands-on workers who take pride in a job well done and can follow instructions, meet physical demands, and use a range of clean-up and maintenance tools. A valid driver’s license and own set of basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent expected.
• Minimum 1 year of general labor or skilled trades experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet physical demands.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment including vacuums, buffers, ladders, hand tools, carpet cleaners.

Your Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Property Manager, you'll be responsible for returning vacated apartments to market-ready condition on time and to standard. This includes cleaning, minor repairs, painting and ensuring each unit is move-in ready. Additional duties may be assigned by the Property Manager, Director of Maintenance, or Regional Supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of general labor and/or skilled trades experience
• Ability to follow instructions and meet physical demands of the job
• Proficiency with tools and equipment, including vacuums, buffers, ladders, hand tools, carpet cleaners, and more
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Own set of tools
• High school diploma or equivalent required
