Lithia Toyota of Redding is seeking a Service Porter to join our Service Department. You will greet customers, assist with service flow, and help keep the lot and work area organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers arriving for service.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats.
• Identify service advisor and notify them of the appointment.
• Move vehicles between service lane and parking areas.
• Retrieve customer vehicles at payment or advisor direction.
• Maintain the parking lot and a clean work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with calls.
• Support Shuttle driver when needed.
• Handle clerical tasks as assigned by management.
• Report safety or policy concerns to management.

Service Porter

Pay: $16.90 - $17.40 per hour (DOE)

We are looking for a customer-focused Service Porter to join our Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, excels and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers. Assist all customers promptly.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when the customer pays their bill or as the advisor directs.
• Maintain the parking lot. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform different clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
• Maintain a valid local area driver’s license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
