Job summary

Howdy Honda, part of Lithia Motors, seeks full-time or part-time Automotive Porter to greet customers, move vehicles, assist shuttle drivers, and keep vehicles clean. The role supports sales and service, requiring a friendly, multi-tasking team player with a valid license.

You will monitor tire pressure, observe basic maintenance needs, and help maintain dealership appearance. Drug-free workplace and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 18 years or older.
• Acceptable driving record with a valid driver's license in your state.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to operate a variety of cars and assist with shuttle/maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
• Move and work with vehicles to support sales activities.
• Deliver vehicles and assist shuttle driver as required.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles.
• Monitor tire pressure and add air/fuel as needed.
• Notify management of general vehicle repairs or maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and run errands.

Porter Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
• Move and work with vehicles to maintain display and support sales activities.
• Delivers vehicles & assist shuttle driver as required.
• Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles.
• Monitor tire pressure of vehicles; add air and fuel as needed.
• Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management.
• Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of assigned areas
• Run miscellaneous errands for the store.

Qualifications

• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
