Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Porter at the Princeton, TX location. You will pre-wash customer vehicles, keep the office and production areas clean, and transport vehicles to sublet locations as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, the ability to multitask, and reliability. Automotive experience is preferred and a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan for consistent execution
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior, including trash, floors, and countertops
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area, dispose of waste and organize tools
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly, shovel sidewalks when needed
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs and cleans them after repair

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education And/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation Details
