Job summary

The Boyd Group and affiliated companies are seeking a Porter to support quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to delivery and maintaining the cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key duties include pre-washing vehicles, interior and exterior cleanup after repairs, transporting vehicles to sublet locations, and upholding the WOW plan while keeping production areas tidy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Clear close vision.

Responsibilities

• WOW plan execution ensured consistently.
• Keep office interior clean including trash and dusting surfaces.
• Maintain production area cleanliness and tool/part organization.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat; shovel sidewalks as needed.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles after repairs.
• Transport vehicles to sublet locations as required.

Job Description:

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail
