Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking a Porter in Mesquite, TX to support vehicle presentation before delivery and to keep the shop and office areas clean and organized. You will also handle pre-wash and post-repair cleaning of customer vehicles, contributing to efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining WOW plan execution, vehicle transport to sublet locations, and ensuring clean work areas and parking spaces.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Clear close vision required.
• 18 years or age or older.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description:

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
