Job summary

Boyd Group Services in GA Tifton is seeking a Porter to support our repair operations. You’ll prep customer vehicles by cleaning them before delivery and help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the shop and office facilities.

Responsibilities include adhering to the WOW plan, cleaning interiors and production areas, handling waste, sweeping floors, parking lots, pre-wash, post-repair cleaning, and transporting vehicles to sublet locations.

Qualifications

• Custodian duties in a vehicle service environment.
• Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a busy shop setting.
• Basic automotive exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the office interior, including garbage, floors, and countertops.
• Maintain the production area cleanliness, dispose of waste, sweep floors, and organize tools.
• Keep parking lots and grounds neat; shoveling sidewalks when needed.
• Pre-washes and post-repairs cleaning of customer vehicles.
• Transport vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description:

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.

• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.

• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.

• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary

• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.

• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete

• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred

• Ability to multitask

• Automotive experience preferred

• Clear close vision required

• 18 years or age or older

• Valid Driver’s license

• Strong attention to detail
