Job summary

South Port Square, a 40-acre senior living community in Port Charlotte, is seeking a hospitality-driven Porter to support daily floor care and trash disposal. You will maintain floors/carpets and ensure equipment is in good condition, contributing to a clean, safe environment for residents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and English comprehension; prior floor maintenance is preferred but not required. We offer full-time hours, benefits and daily pay opportunities.

• Previous floor maintenance experience preferred but not required.

About The Role

The Porter is responsible for major floor care projects and trash disposal.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Porter

• Maintains floors and carpets within the Community.
• Picks up and removes major trash from the Community.
• Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
