Job summary

Fairstead in Newark, NJ is hiring a Porter to perform routine cleaning and custodial maintenance across the property. You will assist with repairing and maintaining community features, and help ensure a safe, clean-living experience for residents.

You will walk the property daily, monitor for safety and curb appeal, provide high levels of customer service, and handle other duties as required. Candidates should be flexible, weekend available, and willing to be on call.

Qualifications

• General interest in custodial and/or maintenance work.
• Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and being on call.
• Perform other related duties as required.

The Porter provides routine cleaning and custodial maintenance of the property's exterior. They are responsible for maintaining the clean and hygienic condition of the property's premises and facilities.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Salary Range

$16 - $19 USD
