Fairstead is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the property's physical assets. Responsibilities include inspecting buildings and equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, prior service technician experience, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

• Knowledge of electricity to diagnose electrical problems and carry out minor repairs.
• General maintenance skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills for effective delivery of information.
• Prior experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
• HVAC Certification or CMRP or equivalent preferred.

• Check safety systems and devices for operational effectiveness monthly.
• Participate in the on-call rotation. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance problems that may require attention outside of normal working hours.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.

Salary Range

$24 - $26 USD
