Job summary

Aristacare-Health-Service is seeking a Porter in New Jersey to support housekeeping operations. You will work under the Director of Housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of private and public areas according to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning in resident rooms and common areas, floor care and carpet shampooing, and transporting linens. This is a per diem position with competitive rates and benefits offered.

• Complete daily cleaning routines in resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, lobbies, and offices.
• Buff floors, wax, vacuum and shampoo carpeting; wheelchair and med-cart cleaning.
• Transport and deliver linens.

Job description

The porter position will take direction from the Director of Housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness of the private and public areas of the facility in accordance with company policies, federal and state laws, local standards, and guidelines. A Porter's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Completing daily cleaning routines in residential rooms as well as hallways, dining areas, lobbies, sitting areas, and offices.
• Buffing and waxing floors, vacuuming and shampooing of various types of carpeting as well as Wheelchair cleaning, med-cart cleaning, etc.
• Transporting and delivering linens.
