Join us as a Porter at Camping World

Camping World is seeking a dedicated Lot Porter to join our growing team. The role involves providing driving and support services as part of our customer service team.

Responsibilities

• Park and move RV units efficiently
• Install and remove window prices on recreational vehicles as instructed
• Perform weekly lot washes and maintain cleanliness of units and aisles
• Write work orders, track issues, and ensure units are in proper working order
• Keep the lot clean by sweeping, trash pickup, and debris removal
• Secure units and equipment from weather conditions
• Maintain physical inventory weekly
• Ensure slide-outs are in, jacks and steps are down, awnings opened, and doors unlocked
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment for customers and staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred towing experience
• Ability to operate yard tractor and forklift
• Ability to drive an RV
• Experience with generators and slide-outs
• Ability to repair small items and identify issues
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
• Exposure to heights and electrical/welding hazards
• Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $14.00 - $21.40. We offer competitive benefits including Paid Time Off, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, roadside assistance, discounts, paid parental leave (eligibility required), tuition reimbursement (eligibility required), and on-the-job training.
