Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter for Napleton Auto Park of Urbana to keep the lot neat, transport vehicles and customers, and ensure vehicles are clean and ready for show.

Responsibilities include moving units as directed, assisting with deliveries, and supporting showroom and lot maintenance, with an equal commitment to safety and reliability. We offer competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned
• Other duties as assigned by management

Located at Napleton Auto Park of Urbana, the Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles and transporting vehicles and customers.
