Gerber Collision & Glass in Crystal City is hiring a Porter to keep customer vehicles clean before delivery and to maintain the appearance of shop and office areas. You’ll support the WOW operating plan and help with vehicle pre-washes and post-repair cleaning.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, reliable multitasking, and a valid license. Automotive experience is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the interior of the office.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in neat condition.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of vehicles after repairs.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation Details

$15 - 19 / Hour Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.

Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
