Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring a Porter to support quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and keeping shop and office facilities tidy.

You will pre-wash vehicles, perform interior and exterior cleanup, help transport vehicles to sublet locations, and maintain parking lots and production areas. The role requires attention to detail and reliability.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Automotive experience preferred but not required.

• Keep production area clean and organized, dispose of waste and store tools.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds, including shoveling when needed.

• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Job Description

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to vehicle delivery. Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including daily emptying of garbage cans, cleaning the floors, and dusting the countertops and work area.
• Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area, emptying of waste cans, sweeping the floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Education and/or Experience Required

• High School diploma / GED preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Automotive experience preferred
• Clear close vision required
• 18 years or age or older
• Valid Driver's license
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation Details

Compensation Details: $14 - 19 / hour Compensation is commensurate with skill, educations and experience.
