Major Food Group is seeking an overnight Porter for Dirty French, located inside the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Join an energetic bistro created by Major Food Group and its co-founders, known for bold flavors and two NYT stars.

11pm–6am shift with responsibilities in keeping both Back of House and Front of House areas clean. The role requires 0–1 years of related experience, a dependability and punctual mindset, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years experience in porter/dishwasher/janitor.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, hard-working, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of Back of House and Front of House areas.
• Clean and sort all dishes and flatwear.
• Mop and take out trash as necessary.
• Wash and disinfect appliances, display case, work surfaces, floors, walls.
• Replenish cleaning materials, soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
