Healey Brothers Automotive in Newburgh, NY seeks an experienced Lot Attendant/Porter to join the service department. This on-site, full-time hourly role supports vehicle movement, inspection, and lot maintenance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to operate in a team environment and follow department manager instructions.
• Dealership knowledge or interest in automotive industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
• Inspect cars to detect damage.
• Verify presence of accessories listed on the invoice (e.g., spare tires, stereo).
• Record damages and missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Park new cars in the assigned area.
• Maximize space and maintain dealership lot.
• Prepare vehicles for service (matting, plastic, key tags) and move from service lanes to stalls.
• Move non-serviced vehicles and keep an orderly area for easy movement.
• Keep service drop-off area clean and debris-free.
• Retrieve serviced vehicles for customers.

Details About This Position:

This position is a Full Time and Hourly position. It sits on site at our Healey Brothers KIA dealership in Newburgh, NY. The schedule for this position is generally a daytime 8-hour shift. Compensation will reflect the ideal candidate's experience.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Must have ability to pass background check

What You Will Do:

• Comparing serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
• Inspecting cars to detect damage.
• Verifying presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and stereo equipment.
• Recording description of damages and listing missing items on delivery receipt.
• Parking new cars in the assigned area.
• Maximizing the use of space and maintaining the dealership lot.
• Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, making key tags and driving vehicles from the service lanes to the service stalls.
• Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved.
• Keeping the service drop-off area clean and free of debris.
• Retrieving newly serviced vehicles for customers.
