Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales or related retail/hospitality sales is a plus.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic within a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers entering the dealership, answer questions, and help them select a vehicle.
• Sell a minimum number of vehicles based on set goals.
• Explain product performance and features, including optional equipment.
• Determine customer needs by asking questions and listening.
• Review actions daily/weekly/monthly to improve time management and planning.
• Offer test drives and verify proper identification prior to test drive.

About the Role

We are looking for an Automotive Sales Associate to join our new car sales team! The right person will have experience selling, and must love working with people.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Selling a minimum number of vehicles based on the goals and objectives defined by the sales manager
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
• Offering test drives to all prospects and following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification prior to test drive

Qualifications

• Automotive sales background preferred but not required. Retail, hospitality sales people encouraged to apply.
