Principle Automotive in Castroville, TX is seeking a dependable Vehicle Porter to move, park, and prepare cars for customers and deliveries. You will support sales and service teams, keep the lot tidy, and ensure vehicles are ready for test drives while following safety procedures.

A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather are required. This full-time on-site role includes PTO, retirement plans, medical coverage, and opportunities for growth

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership lot, service drive, and designated areas.

• Keep the lot, showroom, and service areas clean and presentable.
• Ensure vehicles are staged and ready for customer test drives or service appointments.
• Support sales and service teams with daily operational needs.
• Follow safety procedures and vehicle handling guidelines.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership lot, service drive, and designated parking areas.
• Assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot, showroom, and service areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Ensure vehicles are properly staged and ready for customer pick-up, test drives, or service appointments.
• Assist with washing, fueling, and preparing vehicles for delivery.
• Help maintain an organized inventory of vehicles and ensure keys are stored appropriately.
• Support the sales and service teams with moving vehicles and other daily operational needs.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and vehicle handling guidelines.
• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned to support dealership operations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and park a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to keeping vehicles and dealership areas clean and organized.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Previous automotive, dealership, valet, or vehicle handling experience is a plus but not required.
