L0855 Northwest Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Northwest Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram in Beaverton, OR is hiring a Service Porter to greet customers, assist service staff, and help keep the service lane organized. The role offers a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with pay of $18.00 per hour.

You will drive vehicles in the lot, assist shuttle drivers, and perform basic clerical tasks while upholding safety and courteous service standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly manner.
• Assist customers promptly and professionally.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats for vehicles in service.
• Identify service advisor for customer appointments and relay information.
• Move vehicles within the service lane and parking lot.
• Retrieve vehicles when bills are paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain parking lot and work area in a neat condition.
• Answer calls for the Service Receptionist as needed.
• Assist Shuttle driver when required.
• Perform clerical tasks for service management.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor with whom the customer has an appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to their proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming telephone calls when necessary, answering in a professional and prompt manner.
• Assist Shuttle driver when needed.
• Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees or customers.
• Maintain a valid local area driver's license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
• Other duties as assigned.
