Job summary

Maximus Portal System Administrator position supports enterprise web applications, including government-facing portals, with focus on security, performance, and integration. The role is remote and requires an active Secret clearance to work with government agencies.

You will develop and maintain interfaces between web solutions and back-end systems, manage Oracle/SQL Server databases, and optimize SAP/Web Dynpro-related environments. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance (or higher) required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years in SAP-related fields.
• IT Level 1 and IAT Level 2 certifications.
• US citizenship with no dual citizenship.
• Experience delivering enterprise web apps with frontend and backend integration.
• Hands-on Java coding experience.
• Experience with portal and SAP-related technologies (Project Office Portal, CRDB, Control-M, LDAP, Fortify, BI/EDW, BOB J, ESS/MSS, MII, and Web Dynpro).
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle SQL and web servers (Apache, NetWeaver).
• Knowledge of Kerberos, HTTP/HTTPS, SAP security roles, CAMS, MII, and SSO integration.
• Experience supporting Windows, Unix, Linux in enterprise environments.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, tune performance, and secure access.

Responsibilities

• Support development of web-based applications, including online customer service platforms.
• Develop site concepts, interface designs, and web architecture for new/existing apps.
• Implement and support interfaces between web solutions and backend applications for secure access.
• Administer and maintain portals and related SAP/security technologies.
• Manage and support cloud environments (e.g., AWS WorkSpaces).
• Develop/maintain solutions using ASP, Java, JavaScript, VB, HTML, and databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle.
• Implement Kerberos, HTTP/HTTPS, SAP security, SSO integrations.
• Provide expert support for Apache and NetWeaver across Windows/Unix/Linux.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, monitor portal systems, tune performance.

The Portal System Administrator supports the development, administration, integration, security, and performance of enterprise web-based applications that enable government agencies to deliver services online.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the development of web-based applications, including online customer service platforms.

• Develop site concepts, interface designs, and web architecture for new and existing web applications.

• Implement and support interfaces between web solutions and backend applications to provide seamless, secure user access.

• Administer and maintain Project Office Portal, CRDB, Control-M Enterprise Manager, LDAP, Fortify, BI/EDW, BOB J, ESS/MSS, MII, and Web Dynpro applications, including SAP ZCAT2 and JV Workbench.

• Manage and support Amazon WorkSpaces and related cloud-based environments.

• Develop and maintain solutions using Active Server Pages, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Access, HTML, and database management systems including Oracle and Sybase.

• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle environments.

• Implement and support Kerberos, HTTP/HTTPS, SAP security role structures, CAMS, MII, and single sign-on integrations.

• Provide expert support for Apache and NetWeaver web server technologies and troubleshoot systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, administer and monitor portal systems and databases, tune performance, and maintain enterprise reliability and security.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an Active Secret Clearance (or higher).

• Bachelors in equivalent field.

• 2+ years in SAP related fields.

• IT Level 1 and IAT Level 2 certifications.

• Experience supporting Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.

• Ability to provide ongoing system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, database support, performance tuning, and secure access management.
