Job summary

Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking an SAP Portal Administrator to support the development and administration of web-based applications for federal agencies. The role focuses on building customer service platforms, designing site concepts, and integrating with backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java and web tech skills, extensive SAP tooling experience, and Active Secret clearance with IAT Level 2.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required for federal environment work.
• IAT Level 2 or equivalent certification.
• 4+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux servers for enterprise apps.
• Hands-on with Control-M, job scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting SAP applications and integrations in production.

Responsibilities

• Support development of web-based applications including online customer services.
• Develop site concepts, interfaces and architectures for new/old apps.
• Implement and support integrations across applications to ensure seamless operation.
• Administer and maintain portal systems, CRDB, Control-M, LDAP, Fortify, BI/EDW, BOBJ, ESS/MSS, MII, and Web Dynpro Apps.
• Manage Amazon WorkSpaces and related cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain apps using ASP, JavaScript, VB, HTML, and DBMS tech (Oracle, Sybase, etc.).
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle.
• Ensure security via Kerberos, http/https, and SAP security roles.
• Support SSO integration, CAMS, and MII within SAP environments.
• Provide support for Apache, NetWeaver and related web servers.
• Utilize languages including HTML, Java, JavaScript, LDAP, PERL, PHP, .Net, Oracle PL/SQL, and APEX.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows/Linux enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver web solutions.
• Perform monitoring, logging and performance tuning for portal systems and databases.
• Ensure compliance with IT Level 1 and IAT Level 2 requirements.

Job Description

Enterprise Horizon is seeking an SAP Portal Administrator to support the development and administration of web-based applications that enable government agencies to deliver services online. This role provides technical support for building customer service platforms, developing site concepts and interfaces, and architecting web solutions. The administrator implements integrations between web interfaces and backend systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable access for users. Strong coding skills, especially in Java, and experience with a wide range of web technologies and SAP-related tools are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of web-based applications, including online customer service platforms
• Develop site concepts, interface designs, and web architectures for new and existing applications
• Implement and support integrations with various applications to ensure seamless operation
• Administer and maintain Project Office Portal, CRDB, Control-M, LDAP, Fortify, BI/EDW, BOBJ, ESS/MSS, MII, and Web Dynpro Apps
• Manage and support Amazon WorkSpaces and related cloud environments
• Develop and maintain applications using ASP, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Access, HTML, and DBMS technologies (Oracle, Sybase, etc.)
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Oracle
• Ensure security using Kerberos, http/https protocols, and SAP security role structures
• Support SSO integration, CAMS, and MII within SAP environments
• Provide support for Apache, NetWeaver, and related web server technologies
• Utilize programming languages including HTML, Java, JavaScript, LDAP, PERL, PHP, .Net, Oracle PL/SQL, and APEX
• Maintain and troubleshoot systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective web solutions
• Perform administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of portal systems and databases
• Ensure compliance with IT Level 1 and IAT Level 2 requirements

• Active Secret clearance is required
• Security+ or equivalent IAT level 2 certification is required
• Ability to support occasional off-hours maintenance windows and participate in on-call production support rotation
• 4+ years of experience with Windows and Linux server environments used to host enterprise applications within Federal environments
• Hands-on administration and support of Control-M (including Enterprise Manager support: job scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Experience supporting production systems with formal change, incident, and problem management processes
• Ability to perform monitoring, logging, and performance tuning for multiple applications
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP applications and integrations

• Hands-on administration and experience supporting systems/applications such as:
• MS Project Office Portal
• LDAP (user/group administration, directory structure, access control)
• Fortify (static/dynamic code scanning, interpreting results, coordinating remediation)
