Job summary

Rentals To Go is seeking a dependable Portable Service Technician to operate a company service truck and service portable restrooms and holding tanks at customer locations. This role offers independence, daily variety, and a direct impact on customer satisfaction.

You will drive legally, perform maintenance tasks, and provide excellent service while following RTG and DOT safety standards. This full-time on-site position emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year general vehicle driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (non-commercial, CDL Class A or B).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service truck driving functions per RTG and DOT requirements.
• Work safely to RTG and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Lift/push 50–150 lbs frequently.
• Service portable toilets to RTG standards.
• Engage with customers on site to ensure service quality.
• Be flexible to adjust routes as needed for customer needs.
• Provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor for efficiency.
• Plan for current and future customer toilet needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with RTG and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with RTG and DOT safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries.
• Perform duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. In addition, perform lifting/pushing between 50 and 150 lbs. on a frequent basis during work shift.
• Conduct portable toilets servicing to RTG service standards.
• Perform customer service interaction when on customer work sites to ensure they are getting the services completed to their standard.
• Ability to be flexible in order to meet customer needs when routes need to be adjusted or changed.
• Provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator to be most efficient as well as giving the customer the best service possible.
• Ability to strategically plan for customer needs by discussing their portable toilet needs, so the customer's current and future needs are satisfied.
• Other duties as assigned
