Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Portable Climate Solutions Setup Technician to safely deliver, install, and remove climate control equipment at customer jobsites. You will load, unload, and ensure equipment readiness, while providing white-glove service and maintaining safety standards.

You will use tablets and mobile devices to document progress, coordinate with sales, and keep customers informed. Overtime and on-call work are required, with a focus on reducing equipment damage and ensuring clean,

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience with mechanical/technical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds; valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan your daily delivery and pickup schedule according to business needs.
• Yard prep: ensure rental equipment and materials are ready for shipment.
• Represent Herc Rentals when communicating with customers, Sales, and internal resources.
• Maintain tools and necessary supplies to complete projects.
• Document projects using iPad, laptops, smartphones and voice recognition tools.
