Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Portable Climate Solutions Setup Technician to safely deliver, install, and remove HVAC and related equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes high standards, clean and organized equipment, and strong customer service.

Training and safety culture are emphasized across duties. Responsibilities include planning deliveries, yard prep, and accurate documentation using digital tools.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience using mechanical/technical skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily delivery and pickup schedules according to business needs.
• Prepare equipment and materials for shipment (yard prep).
• Represent Herc Rentals in communications with customers, Sales, and internal teams.
• Maintain tools and supplies to complete projects successfully.
• Document projects using iPad, laptops, smartphones, and voice recognition tools.
