Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
• Basic typing skills.
• Familiarity with 10-key.
• Shipping software systems including UPS and Federal Express.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints regarding work orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory counts in a courteous and effective manner.
• Processes and inputs all customer orders.
• Produces stock reports to check product availability.
• Prepares shipping and tracing information for customers as required.
• Maintains damage records and back order logs.
• Coordinates shipping requests with Traffic and Operations.
• Ensures proper invoicing by verifying invoices.
• Acts as liaison between warehouse and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
• Oversees paperwork associated with orders and maintains files.
• Maintains current procedure manual detailing account processing requirements.
