TalentoHC is partnering with a maritime organization in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, to hire an experienced Port Facilities Security Manager to lead security operations for an active terminal.

The role requires hands-on port, ferry, cruise, or marine security experience, overseeing day-to-day operations, vendor management, staffing around vessel schedules, and ensuring MARSEC, ISPS, and Facility Security Plan compliance.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years in security, terminal, or maritime environments.
• Experience supervising security personnel and vendors.
• Familiar with MARSEC, ISPS, MTSA, PFSO, or Facility Security Plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations for an active maritime terminal.
• Manage third-party security vendors and security personnel.
• Coordinate staffing and coverage around vessel activity.
• Ensure compliance with MARSEC, ISPS, and Facility Security Plans.
• Conduct security inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, credentialing, and incident response.
• Coordinate with port authorities, USCG, law enforcement, and stakeholders.
• Support security investigations, drills, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term security planning.
