Job summary

PCSI is seeking a Supervisor to lead custodial and grounds teams at the Ysleta port of entry in El Paso. You will oversee custodians, floor techs, and grounds workers, training staff to meet safety and quality standards while supporting the Assistant Project Manager.

The role requires at least 3 years of custodial supervision within the last 5 years, with English proficiency and Spanish bilingualism preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience supervising custodial and grounds crews, within the last five (5) years.
• English proficiency required; bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience with floor care and grounds maintenance equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to one assigned port of entry site and ensure contract work is performed properly, on time and safely.
• Working supervisor duties: perform or assist with required duties as needed.
• Assist in monitoring, training, and motivating employees.
• Provide on-the-job training and schedule training on new processes and procedures.
• Mentor employees and assign tasks and schedules as needed.
• Document complaints via corrective action reports per PCSI process.
• Support and train staff with power equipment and landscaping tasks.
• Train floor technicians on striping, waxing, and buffing for high-gloss floors.
• Assist Project Manager and Assistant PM to maintain high standards and quality.
• Participate in monthly Safety Meetings and Safety Trainings.
• Collaborate with PM/APM on goals and issues; ensure SDS is maintained.
