Job summary

PCSI is seeking a Custodial & Grounds Supervisor to lead custodians, floor techs, and grounds workers at the Ysleta port of entry in El Paso. You will monitor performance, provide on-the-job training, and ensure safety and quality standards on the contract.

The role requires at least three years of supervisory custodial experience within the last five years; English is required and Spanish bilingual is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years supervising custodial and grounds crews within the last five years.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• English proficiency; bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience with floor care and grounds maintenance equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to one assigned port of entry site and ensure contract work is performed properly, on time, and safely.
• Operate as working supervisor when needed to perform duties.
• Assist in monitoring, training, and motivation of employees.
• Schedule and provide on-the-job training for new processes and procedures.
• Mentor employees and assign tasks and work schedules.
• Document complaints via corrective action reports per PCSI process.
• Train staff on power equipment, edgers, lawnmowers, trimmers, and landscaping tasks.
• Oversee floor maintenance tasks (striping, waxing, buffing) as required by contract.
• Support PM and AP M in maintaining high facility quality.
• Participate in monthly Safety Meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with PM/APM on goals and issues.
• Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) binders.
• Follow safety policies and comply with regulations.
