Job summary

Pacific Green Trucking / MEDLOG USA is seeking a Port Trucking Operations Manager to oversee daily port drayage terminal operations, including dispatch, driver performance, and equipment utilization. You will develop strategies to boost productivity, safety, and cost control while maintaining strong relationships with port authorities, customers, and vendors.

The role requires 5+ years in intermodal transportation, leadership skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in intermodal transportation; management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety requirements, and port drayage operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily port drayage terminal operations, including dispatch, driver performance, equipment utilization, customer service, and operational profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, service levels, safety performance, and cost control.
• Maintain strong working relationships with port authorities, customers, steamship lines, rail providers, and third-party vendors.
• Train operations team members, including new hires and cross-functional staff.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety requirements.
