Job summary

APTIM seeks a Project Manager to support design-build construction projects at the Alabama Port Authority in Mobile, Alabama. This field office role focuses on medium- to large-scale maintenance and capital projects for terminal operations, with an engineering office supporting Mobile.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with project teams, client representatives, and APTIM colleagues to drive scope, cost, schedule, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in technical project execution with 5+ years in project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to write reports and manage projects from field offices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and control projects per policy and requirements.
• Develop estimates, schedules, WBS, risk assessment, and PM plan.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with scope, budget, and schedule oversight.
• Coordinate with terminal operations leaders to align activities and schedules.
• Oversee multiple contractors, vendors, and project oversight personnel.
• Provide leadership and drive for project teams and safety/quality programs.
• Support project closeout, cost reconciliation, and lessons learned.
