Pork Production Operations Lead

Job summary

CSG Talent partners with a leading pork processing company to hire a Production Supervisor. You will oversee day-to-day production, coach hourly staff, and ensure safety, quality and throughput targets on a fast-paced line.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years supervisory experience in meat or high-volume food manufacturing, with strong leadership, problem-solving and Lean skills. This full-time role is on-site at a multi-shift facility.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising daily production in a high-volume facility.
• Strong knowledge of food safety requirements (USDA, HACCP, GMP).
• Proven ability to drive throughput and labor efficiency.
• Ability to coach and develop hourly staff.
• Experience with Lean/continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring schedules/targets are met.
• Lead, coach and develop production employees on safety, quality, productivity, attendance.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues affecting throughput/quality.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP and company requirements.
• Maintain safety culture and proper housekeeping/sanitation.
• Monitor labor utilization, overtime and productivity.
• Drive improvements in yield, throughput and line performance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, FSQA, Sanitation and other teams.
• Document production records and manage shift handovers.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
