Seaboard Foods is seeking a Processor Sales Associate in Merriam, Kansas, to support sales of fresh and frozen pork products. You will build knowledge of products, customers, markets, inventory, and processes while assisting with sales execution, customer service, and recordkeeping.

You will collaborate with Scheduling, customer service, transportation, production, and quality assurance to meet commitments and drive Seaboard Foods’ business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Meat Science, Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Professional telephone, email, and customer service skills.
• Strong listening, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the promotion and sale of fresh and frozen pork products and monitor daily inventory in coordination with Scheduling.
• Assist sales representatives with customer inquiries, follow-up, account support, and sales information.
• Work with the sales team to manage sold positions and pricing.
• Participate in weekly market forecast meetings.
• Collaborate with Scheduling to communicate daily and weekly production needs.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Production, Customer Service, Transportation, Quality Assurance, and plant personnel to support production planning, order fulfillment, and customer commitments.
