Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship designed for graduate students who want hands-on experience at the intersection of healthcare, data analytics, and population health strategy.

The intern will work with large-scale healthcare datasets, contribute to high-visibility strategic initiatives, and collaborate with analytics professionals, clinical stakeholders, and business leaders to improve population health and value-based outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Pursuing a graduate degree full or part-time is required.
• Master’s degree preferred in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytics activities.
• Conduct research and reporting.
• Analyze healthcare and population health data to develop insights.
• Participate in strategic projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams to support organizational objectives.
• Develop communication and storytelling skills for business recommendations.
