Job summary

Highmark Health invites qualified graduate students to join the Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship. This program combines healthcare analytics and strategy, using large-scale claims and EMR data to generate actionable insights that support Living Health initiatives.

Interns work with analytics professionals, clinicians, and business leaders on projects related to population health, care delivery, and value-based outcomes, while building communication and storytelling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Pursuing a graduate degree (full or part-time) is required.
• Master’s degree in analytics or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day-to-day objectives.
• Undertake and participate in projects to develop professional skills.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations.
• Engage in studies or enrichment programs aligned with objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
