Job summary

Highmark Health offers the Summer 2027 Clinical and Population Health Graduate Internship, designed to provide practical experience in advanced analytics to address healthcare challenges and improve outcomes. Interns will work with clinical, member, financial, and administrative data to identify patterns and develop insights supporting Quadruple Aim goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Pursuit of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university preferred.
Pursuing an advanced degree in Public Health, Economics, Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology or related analytics discipline preferred.
Experience with healthcare datasets and analytics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and teammates.
Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with operating objectives.
Participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
Assist in planning and implementing unit projects within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations for action.
Engage in related studies or enrichment programs to support objectives.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
