Job summary

Highmark Health offers a Summer 2027 Clinical and Population Health Graduate Internship designed to give graduate students hands-on experience with advanced analytics to tackle healthcare challenges and improve outcomes. Interns work with data from clinical, member, financial, and administrative sources under mentorship to build actionable insights aligned with the Quadruple Aim.

Required are a bachelor's degree and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Pursuing a graduate degree in a relevant field preferred (full or part-time).
Experience or coursework in healthcare analytics or population health is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Apply advanced analytical techniques to healthcare datasets.
Develop and monitor population health and clinical quality metrics.
Evaluate trends and opportunities and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Support projects from initial analysis through completion.
Collaborate with analytics, clinical, operational, financial, and technical teams.
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Adhere to HIPAA and company privacy policies while handling data.
