Job summary

Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Clinical and Population Health Graduate Internship designed to develop the next generation of healthcare analytics professionals. You will work with data from clinical, member, financial, and administrative sources to identify patterns and generate insights that support Quadruple Aim goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree in a related field (Public Health, Economics, Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related analytics discipline).
• Experience analyzing healthcare, clinical, financial, or population-level data through coursework, internships, or professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical techniques to complex healthcare datasets.
• Develop and monitor population health and clinical quality metrics.
• Evaluate trends and opportunities and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support projects from analysis through completion.
• Participate in mentorship and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen analytics and healthcare knowledge.
• Build a foundation for a career in healthcare analytics and population health.
