Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a pool attendant to oversee the pool area, make safety announcements, and maintain equipment inventory for guest use at Palm Beach, FL. You will serve residents by providing information and services, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

The role is full-time with a Friday and Saturday schedule (8:30am–5pm) and pays $18 per hour. Hospitality experience and strong customer service skills are valued assets for success.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Must be service oriented.
• Picks up debris from the pool and possesses basic cleaning skills.
• Checks sports equipment to ensure it is in order for guest use.
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager so replacement equipment can be ordered.
• Work as a team member and be approachable to residents/guests.
• Follow Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out related procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
