Job summary

Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Poolside Grill & Seasonal Operations Intern for Summer 2027. The internship offers hands-on exposure to the Seasonal Operations department (Poolside Grill & 10th Tee Snack Bar) within a private club environment.

Responsibilities include leadership tasks such as scheduling, requisitions, inventory, and payroll, plus supporting day-to-day operations and mentoring the Poolside Grill team.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college degree program in hospitality management or similar academic field.
• Previous experience working or training in food and beverage service at a private club preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to the duties and responsibilities associated with this position.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling, requisitions, inventory and payroll responsibilities within the Poolside Grill operation.
• Support the Assistant Manager with running day-to-day operations and managing the Poolside Grill team.
• Shadow and work in other departments to broaden hospitality exposure.
