Job summary

Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, VA is seeking the Blue Ridge Room Intern (Upscale Dining) for Summer 2027. This supervisory internship will immerse you in all areas of the Upscale Dining department within a large private club environment and supplement your hospitality studies.

You will rotate through training that covers leadership, guest service, bar and beverage operations, and department budgeting, with ongoing feedback through bi-weekly meetings.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college degree program in hospitality management or similar academic field
• Previous experience working or training in food and beverage service at a private club preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to the duties and responsibilities associated with this position

Responsibilities

• Take on leadership responsibilities within the restaurant and assist the Blue Ridge Room Manager with running the day-to-day operations
• Learn and support bar and beverage operations, budgeting, and front & back of house relations
• Build connections with members and participate in varied workshops and educational opportunities during the internship
