Job summary

Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA is seeking a Food & Beverage Intern for a seasonal period from mid-May to mid-August. This immersive internship provides hands-on exposure to the dynamic world of F&B operations and client service.

Interns collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to deliver 5-Star service to members and guests, rotate through 6 dining outlets and banquet spaces, and participate in the 5 Star Employee Recognition Program with mentorship meetings throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a hospitality or culinary program is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to be hands-on and learn various aspects of food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Team to deliver 5-Star service to members and guests.
• Assist in maintaining a high standard of service quality across operations.
• Engage in front-of-house tasks such as serving tables, hosting, and food-running.
• Rotate through dining outlets and banquet spaces.
• Engage in mentorship meetings with a manager.
