Job summary

The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA is seeking a Pool Bartender to deliver high-level service at the pool and bar, crafting drinks and attending to guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Employers offer competitive hourly pay of $19.00, with benefits and opportunities for growth within Evans Hotels. Must be able to work days or evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training for San Diego County Food Handler certification is provided at employer’s expense.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Previous similar position in a hotel or similar business preferred.
• Ability to maintain a friendly, professional demeanor under stress.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
• Must attain San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire (company pays).
• RBS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Mix and correctly serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons.
• Maintain knowledge of ingredients including liquor and wine.
• Promote and serve drinks efficiently and courteously.
• Stock and set up bar equipment and station to standards.
