Job summary

The Springs Resort & Spa in Pagosa Springs, CO is seeking a Poolside Bartender to craft beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks for guests at the hot springs. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver beverages while maintaining safety and efficiency in a poolside setting.

Requirements include 21+ years old, work authorization in the U.S., weekend/evening availability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and certification within 30 days if not already certified.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods, including on wet surfaces.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (ice, cases, kegs).
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
• Must obtain Colorado Responsible Vendor or TIPS certification within 30 days of hire if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe and portion standards.
• Greet guests, take orders, and deliver drinks promptly around pool areas.
• Verify IDs and monitor alcohol service per Colorado laws and resort policy.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance drawer at end of shift.
• Set up, stock, and break down the bar; maintain par levels.
• Keep bar and service areas clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Follow glass-free and pool-safety policies around soaking areas.
• Work closely with F&B, Pool/Grounds, and Front Desk teams for a smooth guest experience.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to a supervisor when needed.
