Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a pool attendant to oversee the pool area, deliver safety announcements, and maintain poolside equipment for guest use. The role emphasizes hospitality, resident information services, and dependable teamwork.

Responsibilities include setup/breakdown for activities, incident reporting, debris cleanup, equipment checks, and adherence to Safety and Environmental Protection policies. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred; hospitality coursework desirable.
• Two+ years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Must be flexible with hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with setup and breakdown for poolside activities.
• Submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Must be service oriented.
• Picks up debris and performs basic cleaning.
• Checks sports equipment and ensures it is ready for guest use.
• Reports broken equipment to the manager for replacement.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Is accessible and approachable to residents and guests.
• Follows safety procedures and protects the environment.
